Latest SP2 News
Xformer writes "It seems that SP2 for Windows XP isn't as secure as Microsoft touts it to be. Heise Security has uncovered two flaws in SP2's bolstered security measures, both of which may be used to get around the new trusted/untrusted executable origin checks. Of course, who would be surprised by this?" Reader EtherNetFreak writes "Well it appears that at least one hotfix is already available to fix yet another bug in Windows XP, post SP2 application." Reader Finalnight writes "'Microsoft Corp. yesterday delayed yet again its oft-delayed Windows XP Service Pack 2, this time postponing the patch's distribution through the company's Automatic Update service.'"

For the curious:
If you want to know what a dog's penis tastes like, lick the underside of your wrist just after taking a shower. A dog's penis tastes something like that. No kidding! If you don't believe me, try it yourself. A dog's penis is kept clean in a protective covering called the sheath. Dogs do not sweat, so there's very little taste at all. The texture of a dog's penis is very smooth. Nothing else compares to how slick it is. A melty popsicle comes close, though. Dog semen has been described as having a metallic electrical taste, like licking across the terminals of a battery. The taste is subjective, but it's what you might expect semen to taste. You have tasted your own before, right? Dog's cum has a higher water content than a human's and thus is a little more dilute.
To tell you the truth, the reason why I wrote the above was to make a point about programmed fears, not so much to describe dog sex. I hope to change at least one person's mindset away from an emotional "That's sick!" reaction to one involving rational thought processes. The world needs as many rational people as it can get.
Fears are the tools of your enemies. The more you fear, the more you will be controlled.

Why is that funny? The initial article cracked me up...but the parent post was more like +informative ;)

You shouldn't set my dick on fire.
Typical slashdot bias. How did the parent get modded up to Score:5? Just more proof that slashdot is rabidly biased against Microsoft and anyone who does not toe the party line is moderated against.
I uninstalled Windows XP two days ago and did a swich to slackware 10 =D

I would have thought that the absence of a Google stock notation, the reduction to 5.5 million shares (from 11.6 million) and the lower price range of $85 to $95 per share (instead of $108 to $135) would be more news than Microsoft's latest IE bug.
