Call For Papers: Chaos Communication Congress 2004

atoth writes "The German CCC issued a Call For Papers for its upcoming congress, which will take place from December 27th through 29th 2004 in Berlin, Germany. The motto for this year, 'The Usual Suspects', "integrates lectures, workshops and discussions about current scientific and technological developments, new aspects of engineering research and sociological insights gathered from deployment of modern technology.""

    hmm. some topics dont sound that bad:

    satellite take-over - never thought about that. only had someone asking if the mars rovers could be hacked

    insecurities in GSM - no risks here. just millions of 13 year olds sending SMS (love you so much, kisses ...)

    automated analysis of surveilance cctv - someone ban these phones with cameras please :)
