APR 1.0.0 Goes Gold

cliffwoolley writes "After several years of development, the Apache Portable Runtime, which is the portability library underlying the Apache HTTP Server 2.x, has finally reached its own 1.0.0 release.     On another note, it certainly would be nice to get more of a standardized set of cross platform libraries on the scale of the Java API.

    Do you mean something like Java?

    Sometimes, I think that Sun itself is the greatest problem facing Java.
