Flexible Working Good, But Mistrusted
usefool writes "iTNews has a report commissioned by Toshiba Australia, which stated flexible working (the ability for people to work from whatever place offers the greatest suitability and productivity for the employee and their employer) offers up to six times the level of return through the cost savings associated with fewer overheads, parking, technology and recruitment and training costs. However it is perceived as difficult to monitor and supervise, therefore not always practised by employers."
You Americans still don't get it, do you?
The west no longer has to be won, the economy of North America (except for Canada) has been exploited to death and yet the cowboy mentality still exists. Your country was founded on the ideal that even the lowliest could find their fortune, but that is no longer possible due to the big boys corrupting your government and big business.
You really have become clueless.
When a house for your family costs 20X the average wage and a simle point increase causes people to pay only the interest on the debt(!), you know that something has fucked up along the way.
You are building the house of cards higher and higher simply to satisfy the "invisible hand" of the false concept of so-called free market economics. I think we all know that "enlightened self interest" (AKA greed) is not a sustainable economic model, no matter what your 19th century thinking says.
