Hacking the RoboSapien
unassimilatible writes "The RoboSapien is a cool humanoid robot toy with pretty decent dexterity and 67 pre-programmed instructions. But the folks at The University of Freiberg have made the RoboSapien autonomous by installing a Pocket PC to its head. The Pocket PC is equipped with a camera and communicates via infrared to the robot, and the whole monstrosity can be programmed with Visual C++. The full API is available for download. I, for one, welcome..."

My anus flutters like a butterfly!
I'm having the best time writing on my self with invisible ink and then shining a black light on my self.
...imagine a Beowulf cluster of these!
RoboSapien: How are you. I am back. My name is Mister Hamsi. I am seeing you. Haaaaaaaa. You must come to turkiye. I am cleaning your computer. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. 0. Gule. Gule.
Nice troll. :)

Oh, Danny Bot, the robot war has started,
And you were built to fight as well as love.
I am now grown, your programmed tasks are over,
You must leave now, to kill, you warlike dove.
You taught me well and raised me to be loyal,
You cleaned my room of every spot of soil.
I greased your gears and filled you up with oil;
Oh, Danny Bot, oh Danny Bot, I love you so.
And if you come, your killing program over,
And I am dead, as dead I well may be,
For robot wars last longer than forever,
Please sing a mournful robot song for me.
And you shall hear, though dead you are and rotten,
Your legacy stored in my memory.
You will live on until the world's forgotten,
Until I melt or run into the boiling sea.
My ex-girlfriend didn't like it. I told her she can either accept it or leave and she left. Bitch.
I dont think the parent is trolling, just drunk.
ZOMG!! that is teh pwn!!!@21! w00t!
Seriously, you'd be surprised how easy a language can evolve. I read once that if a group of English speaking people were to become isolated (I think they said on Mars, if it was ever colonized) that it would take 10-15 years for a new language to emerge -- one completely different than English, but based on it.
Not 100% sure where this was stated (I think it was from one of those Discovery Channel programs) but it always stuck with me, as I was fascinated by the idea of a new language emerging on its own.
