Security Attacks Increasingly Motivated By Greed

earthstar writes "E-commerce has emerged as the "single most targeted industry" according to the latest Internet Security Threat Report from security software provider Symantec, with hackers now appearing to be motivated by economic gain rather than notoriety.     Crackers are they guys who write cracks. I.E. break copy protection schemes.
    People doing stuff over the net are either hackers or script-kiddies..

    If you're referring to the likes of Enron, you should call that "Yankee-style Accounting" because 100% of the guilty culprits are actually Yankees from the northeastern US who carpet-bagged their way into Texas to commit their crimes down here.
