Unlike Iraq, most large European countries (and some small but nasty ones) really do have real weapons of mass destruction including but not limited to nukes, chemical and biological weapons. The US is unlikely to attack any time soon, and if they were stupid enough to, it would be "goodbye US eastern seaboard". Now, some americans might say "and good riddance", I guess, but on the whole, invading europe is not a sensible thing to do.
