Upgrade Your Dog

ptorrone writes "Engadget has glimpse in to the future, a future where your dog has a cell phone, webcam and electronic tag, and maybe even talks to you. Maybe. Some of this dog-tech isn't available yet, and some of it is (in Japan, of course). The overview includes some interesting iterations of pet technology, and they even made their own version of a dog webcam along with the first ever canine photographer's photo gallery." I'd rather see more of these things applied to infants.

This sort of thing is typical of engadget.. they're brand of yuppie 'hacking' basically involves piecing together various expensive toys for a purpose that's funny for 5 minutes, and nothing more. Don't get upset about it - some people have more money than brains, and this is what they spend the money on.

The only good dog is one that eats cats.

I call hypocrisy. And you think your cat likes you, really? After all, if it finds you non-threatening it has been hard-wired to rub its scent on you -- which is basically a means of marking its territory.

I don't want to start a dog vs. cat debate, but I'll say this: you try to state your case eloquently, but you can't spit-polish shit.
