Wardriving Worries Residents

sphynx99 writes "This article describes how residents of an upscale neighborhood in Arizona are worried about wardriving, a "new method of privacy intrusion and identity theft". Nothing to worry about, though; "The Scottsdale Police Department plans to create a cyber-crimes unit next year."

to live in a gated community. Crime stays out. You get what you pay for when it comes to cops. Security for gated communities is privatized, and better than the local police.

    From the article:

"The term wardriving originates from 'wardialing,' a term introduced by Matthew Broderick's character in the 1983 movie WarGames."

Tell me this can't be right.
