Virgin's New iPod Rival
iammaxus writes "CNET has the scoop on Virgin's new iPod killer. Favorite quote: 'Virgin said support for open standards such as WMA will let people select the music service of their choice.'" While this doesn't look like a bad player, it's the same price as an iPod mini (and incompatible with the most popular pay-per-download site), so calling it an iPod killer seems a bit premature.
Had the scoop 2 days ago.
I thought the iPod killer was the iPod mini?
Nah, that's Payforsure. Microsoft's new, innovative way to make sure you pirate...err, fine consumers pay for your wonderful open standard WMAs
Mod me down and I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine...
Seamless? I have yet to get iTunes to even recognize my ipod. I've tried numerous times over the past year or so. However, third party applications can access it fine.
How is this not off-topic? And what does your pinko leftist rant about controlling means of production have to do with fox hunting? A word of advice Comrade, stop listening to Chumbawamba, and buy a history book to see how your little Clause Four utopia ends.
dude, get a life. your life seems to revolve a great deal around microscopic features of electronics and apple anal-retentiveness. I love my sony atrac player. its rugged, cheap and its darn good. who the fuck cares for bookmarks? #$%%%@@
