Europe's New ET Life Search Programme

ESA has started a program called Cosmic Visions which will launch a series of satelites, starting with Gaia in 2011, and possibly culminating with the Exo-Earth Imager, a mission consisting of 10.000 3-metre mirror telescopes. The French are leading the charge with Corot in 2008."
It is official; the University of Florida confirms: Ron Zook is fired
One more crippling bombshell hit the already beleaguered Gator community when Athletic Director Jeremy Foley confirmed that the Gator win record has dropped yet again, now down to 4-3. Coming on the heels of a recent embarassing loss to Mississippi State which plainly shows that the Gators have dropped in the BCS rankings, this news serves to reinforce what we've known all along. The Gators are collapsing in complete disarray, as fittingly exemplified by losing to the pathic Mississippi State football team, who lost to Division I-AA Maine.
You don't need to be a Gator fan to predict Ron Zook's future. The hand writing is on the wall: Ron Zook faces a bleak future. In fact there won't be any future at all for Ron Zook because Ron Zook is fired. Things are looking very bad for the Gators. As many of us are already aware, the Gators continue to lose close games. Red ink flows like a river of blood.
All major surveys show that the Gator win ratio has steadily declined in the SEC conference. The Gators are very sick and their long term survival prospects are very dim. If the Gators are to survive at all it will be among Division II-AAA women's tag football. The Gators continue to decay. Nothing short of a miracle could save them at this point in time. For all practical purposes, the Gators' season is over.
