Age of Ornithology The Flight for Freedom Begins
Norg writes "Schadenfreude Interactive is still working on their momentous avian civilization simulator, but you can check out the info page of Age of Ornithology.
From the site: From aXessfehler, creators of Age of Pseudopods(TM) and Age of Monotremes(TM), comes a real-time strategy game that is truly for the birds."
This game will so rock! Age of Psuedopods was my favorite hopefully they can recapture the shear evolutionism of the first game!
Should I be concerned that the webpage touts "Coming Spring 2003"?
nos laetus epulor qui would domito nos
And not even a funny one. I mean, ok - Cthulhu Karts was humourous for a short moment, but Nazgul Thunder? C'mon, /. editors, you can do better than this.
It's not even 1 April, I'm so confused!
'The staff in the hand of a wizard may be more than a prop for age,' -Hamá, the doorward
Too bad this whole site is a joke... (from the looks of the trademarks and short info pages)
Now taking bets on how long it takes for SF projects to pop up for these very same titles!
Admit it. You're thinking of doing it right now. I can see it in your monitor glare.
That green slime had it coming.
Hmmm... I really believed this was a real game until I looked at the bottom of the page and the first link I saw was Nazgul Thunder http://www.phobe.com/sfi/nazgul.html
Oh, great. Just what the video game market needs - yet another ornithological civilization clone. When some real innovation or original ideas be developed?
How can I, when your game does not run under Linux?

redune.com: The World 3.2 Megapixels at a time
Pretty high up on the list
The company name Schadenfreude = Malicious pleasure in English.
Go figure.
What's truly weird about this spoof site (yes, it is a joke) is this: Cthulhu Karts (Cthulhu 500) is an actual card game, and a fairly decent one, at that.
Happiness is relative, Based upon the way we live.
"Wilkommen! Many of you coming to our place by noticing our ads in Computer Games magazine (Ulrike, our VP Marketing, contacted a magazine we will not call PC Gamer and they laughed at us, thinking our titles were a joking! Well, as the old German saying goes, may the cat eat you and the Devil eat the cat and also your foolish coconut monkey item, der Wederman!) Many of you are also asking us, "These ads are pleasant, but when will the games be available in the US?" and to this I respond, we are currently seeking a US publisher, and will keep you in knowledge of the status. -- Karsden Mörderhäschen, CEO of Schadenfreude Interactive" from some german obviously i figured it was a spoof but i think its kida kool thoughlol
And again, Slashdot editors prove their mental inferiority by posting an obvious and lame joke. Must be a slow year. POS.
There's no market anymore for a Tern bassed game
