This is a flash movie made by a news analysis company. In it, they describe many web/world changing events, including the New York Times taking their content off of the web.
I don't know if people agree with me, but here's my rant.
Currently on iTunes a whole album costs $9.99, now I can walk into a music store and get the actual CD for $14.99.
Personally, if its only five bucks, I'd much rather have the CD. You get a pernament backup, the song lyrics and all of the other extras.
If you buy it on iTunes, you have to make sure to burn it yourself or lose it forever, and you don't get the liner notes etc.
Now, if the price per song increases, I'm guessing that the price of an album would increase as well. So that brings the price of buying the album online very close to the price of buying it from a brick and mortar store. So the arugment for buying online is even smaller.
It supports both a proprietary Nintendo wireless protocol, which is used for the DS to DS multiplayer. But it also supports IEEE802.11 WiFi which is there to access the internet though hotspots. Take a look at this gamespot article if you don't believe me.
The article repeatedly says that Nintendo plans to come online within a 3-4 year timescale. I don't really see that as the near future. All of the current consoles will likely be onto their next versions by then.
If I had just bought a DS, which hypes online capabilites as a major feature, I would be very annoyed that I had to wait 3 years before I got any games that supported it.
The adaptor doesn't seem to have the port on it that the Xbox communicator plugs into. This will make it much more annoying to make use of this thing online. Though I think that is a good thing, I get rocked bad enough online as is, if I were up against guys with superior controllers I would be murdered.
I just tore apart an old 100 Mhz Pentium laptop and installed Slackware on it. I've got it set to run a slideshow using svgalib, so I don't even have X installed on the machine. It pulls the photos off of my webserver and works great. It was an easy project and the results are great. All that is left for me is to find a nice frame to put it in.
I read this article and I am surprisingly pleased. Last semester in my Software Engineering class the whole class was assigned the task to write Settler's of Catan. It was a very enjoyable project and the end result was quite fun to play.
I can't wait until Microsoft releases this to see how they dealt with the many difficult game decisions that have to be made.
I love Ninja Gaiden I just wish that I had the patience to put up with the riculous difficulty. I've even managed to destroy one of my controllers in frustration. I just don't see why he couldn't have put an easy or normal option in the game, let us choose how hard we want it to be.
This couldn't an image of the real DS. Take a look at the D pad, the ends of it all all rounded. Nintendo has had the same classic d-pad design on all of their consoles, it is their signature, I just can't see them changing that.
It appears that it doesn't even do the dual user function out of the box From the article "What Do You Need for a Twin PC?.... Dual Head VGA - the 860Twin comes with just a single VGA connector, so you must add a Dual Head VGA card for Twin PC operation."
So I would buy this box, then have to immediatly buy a new graphics card, thus making the one it came with useless?
Hard to see the advantages of this thing outweighing two seperate machines.
Found this article at GameSpy. Has a lot of cool pictures of the the N-Gage as well as a hands on preview. It almost makes me want one of these things (Never had any desire for that old ugly thing)
I know Nintendo fanatics will likely be upset about Nintendo admitting their fault. But personally I'm glad that the company is admitting they made a mistake and are makeing the steps to fix it.
Especiallly the fixes that don't need any puchase at all. Big move for the big N. Way to go!
It sounds as though you might have your sound settings wrong. I've had similar problems with some games. What is happening is the game is trying to pipe sound to the centre speaker. However I do not have a centre speaker, and had to go manually diable it.
I'm surprized that no one has mentioned this

It will be interesting to see what happens here.
I checked and The google Mirror still has it.
I just was reading it and then refeshed the page, I now get "We're sorry, but there is no Microsoft.com Web page that matches your entry"
Did Microsoft just find out about the page and decide that it was a little odd?
My biggest problem with switching to MSN would be the length of the url
google.com = 10 characters
search.msn.com = 14 characters
Call me a lazy bastard, but the number of key presses really matters to me.
Give Drupal a try. It is very customizable, and you should be able to configure it to do whatever you would like.

Just be warned:
Clearing your chache won't solve the problem though because Google Desktop Search caches all web pages in its own internal cache.

Halo 2 Ships on Nov 9, 2004.... I can't wait! (I'm one of the 1 Million)

What is scarier is that I tried going to
"http//www.moneyfactory.com" and ended up at a MSFT site...
Though I figured it out quickly, in Firefox entering just "http" does the same thing

I have a few spare invitations.. But I'm not a beautiful woman, sorry
Well I have ESPN 2004 and all the players have their real names....
I guess you have never played an NFL game.
They all have the real names, most have the real likeness of the players too.
I'm pretty sure Madden and ESPN both have essentially the same deals with the NFL and NFLPA
I love Ninja Gaiden

Sony is also a manufacturer of TV shows and movies
