For the idea that programming isn't a job people should actually pay you for. Yay!

The answer is #42 idiot...
"...and it goes to show just how much momentum Firefox has."
and it goes to show me that if the Mozilla project had not had their collective heads up their asses for so many years making a bloated sack of shit instead of going for a standalone browser and a standalone email client (like they have finally done with FireFox and Thunderbird) from the very getgo, then the momentum NOW would be UNBELIEVABLE...
Repeat after me: "Less can be more, and simple IS beautiful". Rinse wetware and repeat... ad infinitum.
All this will accomplish is giving more money to the man, nice going assholes. IE's domination will last forever.
Guys. 9,567 og the 10,000 names are 'fake' . Red herring. That's the trick. If you see that 10,000 other people have contributed it's very easy to contribute too. While if you see zero, you don't. Typical basics of human phsycology.
And why?
First. Most people don't like browser monopoly.
Second. Firefox (Mozilla 6.0) is not like the ultimate program of all times. There are excellent pieces of software out there that have 0 in their paypal account/sponsors. 250000 is too much.
That's just an ad trick imo.
On the contrary, it goes to show the monumentality of the zeal in the small concentrated minority which constitute its supporters.
It's the most distinguished newspaper in the U.S.
Was, perhaps. Just like Dan Rather may have been respected in the past. Now the NYT is just a propoganda paper with editorials presented as "news". It's been happening for a while, but people like Jayson Blair have just made it more apparent recently.
