Electoral-vote.com Under Heavy Load; Attack?
An anonymous reader writes "Electoral-vote.com (and mirrors electoral-vote2.com through electoral-vote8.com) seem to be very slow at the moment. Votemaster ( A. Tanenbaum) just posted 'All the servers appear to be under attack now, also DNS. I added another large multiprocessor but it doesn't seem to help much. I don't this is going to work. Sorry.' Massive attack or just a large flash crowd? Anybody up for some mirroring so votemaster can concentrate on the polls?"
Reader fishwack writes with word that as of 3:46GMT (10:46 PM Eastern time in the U.S.) "the Federal Electoral Commission's Web site is down."
"As of 12:12 AM (Eastern), Bush: 234, Kerry: 188"

It's a result of the liberal bias of college professors and the ``scholars'' who don't bother to get an alternate viewpoint. Talk about something in a dirty enough way, and you can dirty it forever in people's minds. Being a die-hard, blinders on liberal is a good thing to many leftists' eyes, but being a die-hard conservative is considered wrong and nasty (ie, look at how Ann Coulter is treated by liberals).
It's also that many of this Slashdot crowd are Satanists. If they can upset a devout Christian (or any conservative), they will, just because they want to. Ann Coulter wrote a book about this.
For another good example, you should read Pat Buchanan's book, A Republic, Not an Empire and contrast it with the slanderous way he was treated by the media. Claims of racist against him are just wrong.
The condescending and arrogant attitude of many in the left is what really cost Kerry this election.
