AOL Subscribers Finding Greener Pastures
Mitch writes "The Register is reporting that America Online has lost close to 2 million customers since September 2003. At the end of September they had 22.7 million customers in the US which was down more than 500,000 since the beginning of the quarter. This news comes one day after it was announced that more than 700 jobs would be cut from Virginia offices by the end of this year."
Yes. According to my calendar we are into November already. Maybe you should change your nic to rip van winkle?
Maybe AOSmell should just knock it off with making people use Internet Exploder.
Laws are for people with no friends.
Lots of people can't handle it in the real world, so they stay in Disneyland.
Do you know any of these people? Where do they live? In the sewers of the park? I wasn't aware Disneyland had permanent accomodations...
Your analogy reeks of bullshit superiority. In your pathetic attempt to assert your own higher status in the world, you have deluded yourself into thinking substantial portions of the population "can't handle it in the real world" and thus choose to live in Disneyland.
The reality is that it is you who clearly don't live in the real world. Disneyland is an escape for those of us who work every single day and struggle to make a better life for ourselves. It is called vacation.
When you have lots of responsibility, little free time, and in short, have grown up a little, you will understand the benefits of a real vacation.
So, go back to your life of playing video games, frequent masturbation, and the fantasy of your own intellectual superiority. Hopefully, you will eat yourself to death and simply die.
Uh....DisneyLAND...Anaheim, CA
It would be cool if it didn't suck.
