Trizor writes "Bloggercon III commenced today with the opening session ending in a singalong of 'This land is your land'. The sessions ranged from introductions on blogging to a comparison of bloggers and journalists. The developers at O'Reilly have provided notes, coverage, and commentary on the event."

    I have a real problem with this song, being a Native American. This is a song of the white Europeans who came to OUR LAND and took it for THEIR LAND. Now they sing songs about how it is free and it is for everyone, but really, it is not free.

    My people did not control immigration, we allowed people to come and go as they please. Now there are borders with barb wire and customs officers with guns. You limit immigration and decide who can come, plus what they can do when they are here. Free, my ass.

    Great song if you are a white pioneer, but us natives thing it is very insulting.

    Site is slashdotted now, maybe I'll read it later.

    I wrote a blogger aggregator in PHP a couple days ago. http://sproutworks.com/blogger.php It simply displays links to the latest updated blogs. Then you can click on a link and it'll parse out the entries from the blog you clicked on. Right now it only works on the blogs with the newer template files. I am using an HTML parser I wrote rather than the Blogger API. I will probably add some new features that use the Bloggeer API.
