California Takes A Last Swing At VoIP

JamesB writes "News.com's Ben Charny reports that two California cities want to tax Internet telephony. This news comes on the eve of the FCC ruling on whether federal regulations will preempt local ones."

    How can you california liberals complain? You're the ones who love to spend spend spend, even when you don't have the money (budget crisis).

    That's why I propose the following:

    Next year on everyone's IRS tax form there should be a huge box that says "Check this box if you are a liberal and want to be taxed at a higher rate than everyone else." The rate should be around 90% of income, which liberals *should* love. Then we'll see how many of you slashdot liberal asshats actually check the damn box and put your money where your mouth is. I mean, what more fair system could their be? Those that support raising MY taxes could go ahead and raise their own, and I would be able to keep my own taxes low. But no, I'm sure some slashdot liberal asshat is going to figure out why he should be able to force me to pay a 90% tax rate so that some hobo in San Fransisco can make $35,000 for living on the street.
