The term is popular in the newspaper business to describe the file that holds past issues flats although the term has been used by illustrators, comic book artist, designers and teachers as well.     Yes, but the deviant art site stock photos may have different licensing. Some of the stock art on DevArt is for internal use only, some of it is for non-commercial etc. From what I understand of Morguefiles is that its all use-however-you-want..
