SwiftBoy writes "Elena, of motorcycling through Chernobyl fame has gone riding again, this time to dig up the history of Kiev's fortifications. Interesting that after 60 years all that stuff is still there."

    Not the OP, but why were his two posts modded Troll?

    Here are some examples of posts and appropriate mods for your elucidation:

    Troll: I hear Elena and Stephen King recently passed away. Please go here for the eulogy [mirror to goatse].

    Flamebait: Good!1! Wish more of those Russians bit teh dust their just gonna sell stuff to the South Koreans anyhow.
    (Note the misspellings and mistaking South Korea for North Korea)

    Offtopic: Cool. I want to buy a flatpanel CRT now. I hate LCDs anyway.

    Redundant: (Just wait until I post this comment again further down the thread. That's redundant. So is every second CmdrTaco post...)

    Insightful: While it pays to remember that there is some doubt as to the veracity of Elena's reports, it should be noted that even if it is drama, it has helped raise public awareness of many of the hardships which still exist in rural Russia. That can only be a good thing.
    (Note: Insightful posts are helped by including several relevant links, and possibly by very long sentences.)
