Some iPod Fans Dump PCs For Macs

dereklam writes "The popularity of the iPod could be boosting Macs' popularity as well. News.com reports that 6 percent of iPod users have made the switch from PCs to Macs. An additional 7 percent said they are planning to dump their old PC for an Apple machine, according to the survey." I wish the linked story had more details; it's not clear from the results mentioned whether there's a strong causal relationship here.

    I don't know...

I my work machine is a Dell and it's fairly equilivalent to a top of the line G5. The prices are about the same.

You're getting a really crappy dell for 700 bucks (with screen). Everything on the MB and shared memory. You really can't compare that to the higher quality innards of the mac.

Since Bush has won it's time to put away our differences and support him. Just like the Republicans did for Clinton.
Crap. A bad idea in power is still a bad idea.

(The word "bad" just doesn't cut it, though.)
