World of Warcraft Reaching Record MMOG Sales
Drac8 writes "Blizzard Entertainment has announced that World of Warcraft has reached record sales in the first day, selling over 250,000 copies, and 200,000 accounts have been created. As of 5:00PM PST tuesday the game had over 100,000 people playing."
I wonder what is the ratio of whiners like you is in those 200K people who bought the game
haha ur fuggin crazy if u think bliz is ever gonna port WoW to Linux...dream on, hippie
Ratio of people whining about the queues to people who bought the game?
Probably about 160K(w):200K(p)
That is to say 80% of the people who purchased are not pleased with the queues while 20% of the people who purchased don't care if they're treated like crap and have to wait 2 hours to get in the game only to be disconnected or crash so that they can wait for another 2 hours to try again.
Of course this statistic, like any other, needs to be taken with a grain of salt since it is unscientific, based on an informal survey of WOW forums, and generally pulled out of my ass.
