1994 BSD/Unix Settlement Released On Groklaw

    Moreover, you do not consider the very real philosophical difference between the BSD and GNU people.

    The GPL licencing people are willing to remove copyrights and put on a GPL.

    Three examples where someone who had removed the BSD licence and slapped on a GPL. Theft.

    I've yet to see where GPLed code had the GPL removed and a BSD license placed on it.

    Given past thefts of code, it is possible there *IS* illegal code in GNU/Linux that belongs to SCO. But so far, SCO hasn't produced that code, and *I* doubt whatever they have is worth the billions in damage they are claiming.
