In Korea, Email Is Only For Old People

_martini_ writes "This short article suggests that, in Korea, email is used only for formal communications, or by older, less tech-saavy generations, while IMs, blogs, and SMS has taken over as the primary means of day to day messages."

The type of dogs traditionally eaten by some Koreans and served in some restaurants are not your everyday dogs. They are bred like cattle or chickens, and are not treated like pets. I hear that the flesh is fatty, and supposedly good in soup.

In my family's home country, some people will eat any fucking dog that looks tasty. Ever hunt your neighbor's pet because it barked at night? That is a common story where they're from.

Thank God my mom's family escaped that savage land across the border to Detroit before I was born.
