Torvalds on Opening Solaris
An anonymous reader sent in a link to this interview with Linus Torvalds, where the questions center on Sun's movement toward the open source world (and Linus' dismissive view of the threat posed by Solaris), as well as a few questions about 2.7 and the future of Linux.

I wish the hell that in his public comments Linus would stick to strictly technical issues of Linux, period.
Every time he opens his mouth about other products or companies he says something that hurts Linux. He seems completely deaf to how his comments sound to mainstream and business users; all he does is perpetuate the stereotype that Linux is a geek toy written by geeks, and that for "serious" use you need something like Windows from a "real" company.
