Ben Browder Joining Stargate SG-1 Cast
Ananamous Coward writes "Ben Browder, best known as Farscape's John Crichton, will become a SG-1 regular starting from season 9 (yes, there are already rumors about a 10th season), joining the SG-1 team although is role is quite unclear. He will fill the gap left by Anderson who's unlikely to return except for small appearances.
Claudia Black, Farscape's Aeryn Sun, is also going to play in a fair number of episodes"

I never understand why things like this are posted here. Some obscure cast member from some obscure Sci-Fi show gets another obscure role on another obscure Sci-Fi show. I haven't watched Sci-Fi in so long that I forgot it exists. I fucking hate Wil Wheaton, and how much Slashbotters suck his dick, but I'd rather hear news about him than this shit. I wish Sci-Fi would just go bankrupt already. Or does anybody actually watch those shitty movies like Cobra vs Anaconda or Attack of the Spiders?
And yes, Stargate is an obscure show compared to practically any other cable channel, and especially compared to any network (including WB). Hell, I bet reruns of Walker, Texas Ranger on USA Network have larger audiences.
well the good thing is that since no one cares about the show, no one will care about the movie. easy as pie! next question?

You're right, my post is redundant. Because yesterday, I ALSO TOOK A SHIT THAT HAS MORE SUBSTANCE THAN THIS STORY.
Those of us who deliberately do not closely follow the news on the shows we watch (personally, I want to be surprised by the evolution of the characters) would appreciate not having this kind of information plastered all over Slashdot's front page.
