Sin City Trailer

FrankMillerFan wrote in to tell us that there is a Trailer for Sin City available on Apple's preview site. The film is being co-directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller himself. The video is kinda small but I gotta say that I'm pretty blown away- it really looks like they somehow took Miller's comic style and made it into a movie. High contrast, sometimes looks like line art, cool sparse use of color. This is a must-see trailer for any fan of the comic. Hopefully a higher-res version will be available soon.

    Looks like all the ingredients for a Hollywood blockbuster - big names, among them a washed-up has-been trying to rekindle a career which died over a decade ago, lots of CGI effects, and no plot. *yawn* Hollywood's got to try harder than that to get my money. No, wait, make that Hollywood has to actually TRY to make a good movie to get my money...
    Guys, seriously, how is using all this CGI technology producing better movies? They look fake and unrealistic, cost more money than acutally building sets, and they've placed so much emphasis on CGI that they've all forgotten that they need a good story.
