FBI Investigating Laser Beams Pointed at Aircraft

sakshale writes "In an earlier discussion about Laser Pistols, many people argued about the concept of using them to target pilots of airliners. Apparently the FBI is investigating incidents in Cleveland and Colorado Springs. They issued a warning on December 14th."

    Unless you can show a vital need to own a laser pointing device to the authorities then they should be prohibited to posess. Ordinary subjects do not have a need to posess laser pointers and therefore should not be allowed to. They are clearly a threat to security.

    I know some people will find banning them unpopular but they need to get over it and accept it. People have shown that only the government can be trusted with guns, lasers, pepper spray, tasers, etc.

    If you are caught with a laser and you're not a police officer or a member of the government then you should be arrested and sent to prison. That's my suggestion for our lawmakers.

    We might never know seeing as the FBI can now issue their own warrants and confiscate whatever they want and the person that is on the receiving end of this unconstitutional government rape will be forbidden from saying anything about it, all pursuant to the Patriot Act Part II that was recently passed as a late tag on to a larger security bill. Of course no-one had time to read what the attachment was before passing it...
