cyrus_zuo writes "For all those who think that the best games that came out this year were all sequels Game Tunnel presents a different angle on things with their 2004 Independent Game of the Year awards. For those who believe that the best game this year was that badly named expansion pack that they have the nerve to call Halo 2, check out the awards for a different side of gaming than you are used to."

    Halo 2 is from microsoft, you should have noticed by now just about every submission has some weak anti-MS troll in it.

    This whole "news for nerds" website is a troll.

    So just troll back.

    Yes. I've always felt they should rename it "News about FOSS/Linux. Because nothing else matters."

    At least then you'd know to bypass most of the stories because it's really just become an open source poke-and-jab at Microsoft at least once a day web site.
