Sneak Peek At Microsoft Anti-Spyware

Ant writes "Broadband Reports mentions Neowin's sneak peek of Microsoft's upcoming anti-spyware software recently acquired community favorite Giant spyware; Microsoft has code-named their re-hashed version of that software 'Atlanta.' It is currently in an internal beta test. There are screenshots of the application in action."

    But plenty are "blind" metamods, only out for mod points, only some accounts are even capable of metamodding, not everyone that can does, some comments are submitted multiple times for metamodding, and you're discounting journal postings and non-front page article postings. Only some of the metamods are "true" metamods.

    But this is Slashdot! (Well, except for wanting updates so people like CmdrTaco and the like can play their "The Sims" and HL-2 on their (likely pirated) Windows boxes...) Windows Update is for lamers!

    Has Microsoft really contributed ANY innovation to the computer industry? There's nothing really innovative about aqcuiring another company and assimilating their product into your product line.
