A prototype of the Virtual Case File was delivered to the FBI last month by Science Applications International Corp. of San Diego.
I was down at their gorgeous campus recently (no, really, it was an amazing set of buildings in a scenic location - the Wackenhut security contingent requires everyone to sign in and get badges but they don't check IDs so go have a look yourself). I suppose the one bright side to this debacle is that they are keeping some well-paying programming jobs here in the states.
Can't the FBI just use the kick-ass CTU-software suite they use on 24? I'm sure Jack Bauer wouldn't mind...
