But some of us IT folks like to make our decisions based on what is best for the busines, not what is the most cool or the most fun.

Windows is built by a company that listens to its potential customers and tries to fulfill their needs.

Linux is built by a group that listens to itself and tries to impress each other.

Linux is a very big issue...in certain areas. In many University settings, Linux is THE thing to run. Sure, we're a small subset of the population, but we're also the ones who will be setting the status quo in a few years.

Your comment about exclusivity in games under Linux is absolute heresy...how dare you forget tuxracer! You, sir, are a blasphemer!

I hear a great deal the comment "If Linux would run all my games, I'd switch tomorrow..." That's BS, and it means that you play way too damn many games. The GOOD games, the POPULAR games already run under Linux, either natively or through a translation layer like Cedega, so the afforementioned comment is bunk. If a Windows game won't rund under Linux, it's probably because you're the only dumb SOB that wants to play it, and it probably sucks anyways.
