Emacs by default has what I call an auto-formatting thing turned on by default where parentheses, method arguments, etc. are all put in the appropriate horizontal spot in a line.
How do I get gvim or vim to do this?
For example, if I type "if(someVariable) {" and then hit enter a few times and close out the bracket by typing "}", Emacs automatically indents the "}" to match the "{". I want to get this behavior in Vi!!!
THANKS.
interesting steam statistics..
