Half Life 2 Retail Sales Hit 1.7 Million

And out of those 1.7 million, 15 of them have gotten to play it without the stuttering problem or authorization difficulties! Reports of a 16th user were unfounded -- the user thought a demo loop was him actually playing.

1.7 mil? Thats it? The PC games industry is dead.
The game seems like a huge failure in comparison to Halo 2, which sold over 6 mil. Plus, the multiplayer in Halo 2 is leagues above Half-Life 2 anyday.
