2K Games Adds More Titles to its Roster
Take-Two publishing's 2K Games label, unveiled late last month, has acquired yet more hit titles to go alongside the MLB and Civilization franchises, according to Gamespot. Elder Scrolls IV, sequel to the hit Morrowind, and long anticipated Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth will be copublished with Bethesda Softworks.
I really hope this doesn't mean that Elderscrolls IV will be "dumbed down" for the masses. : (
I don't have a lot of faith in mega media companies.
Electronic Arts (EA) announced today that it has been in talks with Gandalf, Merlin, and Harry Potter to secure the exclusive rights to use magic or any other arcane-related spellcasting in videogames. This would deal a big blow to Take-Two, who recently signed on to publish Bethesda's Elder Scrolls IV game, which relies heavily on the use of magic in its game design.
If you mispronounce his name, which takes a double jointed jaw along with at least two tongues to pronounce correctly, he'll come up and destroy us all.
That, or he'll have Uwe Boll make a movie about these games too.

Although quite often publishers have made some bad decisions with regards to games, in this case the Developer is a very strong one with an excellent record.
Bethesda have made some great, but very under-rated games, from Terminator 2029 through to Elder Scrolls and so on. I have high expectations from these up and coming games.
