Enterprise Fans Buy Full-Page Ad In LA Times

jangobongo writes "SciFiWire.com reports that fans of Star Trek Enterprise have succeeded in placing a full-page ad in the LA Times. The ad will urge someone to pick up the show for a fifth season. According to the official fan site, a Star Trek Enterprise fan working for the LA Times has arranged a special deal for a discounted ad. Donations collected to date have covered the cost of the ad which will be located in the "A" section of the paper on Feb. 21."

So I guess the other fan will foot the bill? As the saying goes, "Two heads are better than one." But in this case two Star Trek fans are starting annoy the rest of the SciFi community!

Please ... do you hear yourself talk? Do you actually say this in public? Who are you people ... get life why don't you?

I mean if countless vulcan-nerds can coordinate all this passion for a newspaper ad for a t.v. show that was great maybe in 1970, why can't they muster up that same passion for a hair-comb or some soap? Seriously, you must brush and floss every day. Also, pop those zits get some clearasil.

    Good day.
