    I just read some sad news on the DigiBarn website - Apple human-computer interface expert Jef Raskin was found dead in his California home this morning. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the Slashdot community will miss him - even if you didn't enjoy his work, there's no denying his contributions to popular culture. Truly an American icon.

    On a serious note, this man is credited with the decision to use a one-button mouse. He later stated that in a redesign of the interface he would go with a two-button mouse. What could have been...
