An excellent project, Stripe Snoop started by Billy Hoffman, a Georgia Tech computer science student, contains schematics, source code and a wide variety of information about the standards used to store all sorts of information on your magnetic cards."

    I've tried this software. It's awesome. It read every stripe I threw at it - even the brown stripe in my jockeys!!!

      Since /. doesn't put the year in their date/time field, it could be from a year and six months ago. Maybe thats how they get away with more dupes? You don't need new stories if you can recycle them every year.
