Ask mc chris
Many of you are no doubt familiar with the works of mc chris. He's probably most well known as the high pitched rapper on the track 'Fett's Vette' that you probably have an MP3 of somewhere. In addition to several highly entertaing albums, he's also the voice of MC Pee Pants (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) and Hesh (Sealab 2021). He's now touring, but you better already have tickets since he sold out his first 8 shows (including my local venue. The wife is very unhappy with me for not getting tickets in time). He'll also be performing at the Penny Arcade Expo later this year. This is your chance to ask him those burning questions. Standard Slashdot interview rules apply: Ask here, and we'll pick from the best of them and then wait patiently for Chris to bless us with his words.
Jeez - it seems like /. has sunk to an all-time low - this has nothing to do with "News for Nerds" - and I am not sure it is "Stuff that Matters", either. I can't understand how this made it as a post? MC Chris may be the best rapper on the planet (doubt it, but possible) - but even after reading that Wikipedia article, I for one cannot understand what he has to do with anything involving geeks, nerds, technology, science, etc - aside from the fact that he has worked with Cartoon Network, and some geeks watch CN, and others may have listened to his music.
Can anyone enlighten me? Is he a closet geek? Did he create some kind of custom digital video scratching mixer or something from a busted APEX DVD player and an iPod? Well...?

Obviously this guy is a bit obscure even to most of the slashdot crowd. So you may ask yourself.. why did this story get posted? There's one very telling clue:
The wife is very unhappy with me for not getting tickets in time
So CmdrTaco says to himself.. "how can I still get tickets, even though they're all sold out? I know! I'll contact Chris and ask him for free tickets in exchange for an 'interview' on Ask Slashdot!" Nevermind the vast majority of slashdot people have either never heard of him, or don't care two whits about him.
There's this thing called journalistic integrity and conflict of interest Taco.. maybe you should read those linked wikipedia articles.

Rap became relevant to someone... somewhere... really

Rap is like the putrid spoiled milk of music. Poor a nice cup of cold fresh milk, add a drop of the putrid stuff, and the whole cup is ruined.
Digital is, by definition, imperfect. Analog is the way to go.
