NZ Business Fined For Out-of-Date Website
Peter writes "A story reports that a restaurant in New Zealand has been fined NZ$3000 for failing to keep its website up to date. By having out-of-date menus and prices on its website, it has breached the Fair Trading Act, according to the New Zealand Commerce Commission."
Are you saying that you would order the food before even looking at the menu and then act surprised when you got to the bill? Who's stupidity is that? Yours or the restaurants? Or are you just complaining that you had to drive all the way to the restaurant to find out prices were different? Ever hear of phones? I hear they are great at resovling problems like driving to stores needlessly.
Gee, for a 2 hour drive, maybe you should have called ahead to make sure before you wasted your time and gas. What an idiot you must be.
blah blah blah
Thankfully in Australia and New Zealand we have false advertising laws. It might be acceptable to lie in your advertisements in America, but over here it isn't.
