Militants Planned Attack On Indian Software Firms

Apart from maps of call centers police also recovered 100 kilos of dynamite, 10.5 kilos of RDX explosive, 450 detonators, three AK-56 rifles and a satellite phone."

The section on war is a large part of the Koran. The sections that do not contain war mongering in the name of jihad are in the beginning of the Koran an earlier epoch of history when Muhammed did not have the power he had after he conquered most of Arabia. The peaceful parts have been abrogated by later Koran verses advocating permament war. Unlike other religions Islam has always been more than a religion, Sharia law derived from the Koran and other early Islamic texts has been literally used to govern nations until the 20th Century. This is like saying that history ended in the 7th Century when Islam was created and to base all laws on revealed 7th Century sources, Islam is the greatest retrograde force on the planet. On the contrary Christian instead of destroying the Roman Empire grew within this Empire so it always had the experience of secularism, earky Christians were under the provision of Roman law and eventually the Roman Emperors made Christianity into the state religion.
Further most muslim states when they have the power do follow the tradition of permament war. Luckily the modern Muslim world is a complete failure or else we would see even more jihad if the muslim world had the powerful to think they could successfully campaign. Arab states like Syria, Jordan and Egypt even when waging combined campaigns have failed numerous times to destroy tiny Israel. Turkey does not have the economic power to even beat tiny Greece(less than 1/6 of Turkey's landmass and population) in an arms race, ditto for mostly muslim Malayasia which cannot beat Singapore in an arms race.
