Normally toxic levels of adenosine build up in T-cells killing off those important cells required for a robust immune system. While not the first person cured, another successful case of gene therapy goes a long way in encouraging goverments to continue to fund genetic research."

No, he's probably also read the USA PATRIOT act, the DMCA, the news listings on Guantanamo, the recent news of the CIA's forcible deportation practices, the news listings on the USA military's first attack on Afganistan (the one that prompted the terrorist counter-attack in 2001), and in general realized that the USA and the CIA is a unstoppable military force, and it's being led by people with a fanatical dedication to a violent religion. If that doesn't worry you, then you don't understand the problem yet.
You are a liberal piece of shit! If you took anytime to research this, you'd find that the stem cells were not from fetuses but from other sources such as adult stem cells. These are exactly the types of research the Bush Administration wanted to focus federal funding for and they have not put up ANY roadblocks to stop this type of research.
Many scientists have said the embyllical cord and adult stem cells show much more promise than fetal stem cells. And so far nearly all of the major revolutions in this field WORLDWIDE have been with the type of stem cell treatments supported by the Bush Administration.
So next time you want to shoot off your stupid liberal (oops, that's redundant) mouth, take the time to know what the hell it is you are talking about.
