Vodoo Extreme has the results from a recent study that looks into the spending and playing habits of gamers. From the article: "Gamers spend more than $700 a year: $341 on console titles, $233 on PC games and another $140 for accessories."

    Ever consider the fact that you are just a weak-willed sucker with horrible taste? I mean, PSP? Xbox? You are just about the newbiest money mismanager I've ever read about to be spending any kind of serious money on these two systems.

    I can do, and have done, $1800/week on games. You know, closing gaps in import game collections and whatnot. But if I'm doing what I do properly, most/all/more of that comes back to me sometime later, without me having to sacrifice much of anything. And it sure isn't on PSP or Xbox n00b stuff.
