Webcomic Little Gamers Shut Down By MPAA

webhat writes "It seems that the website for the webcomic Little Gamers has been shut down by the MPAA because it '... facilitates the illegal downloading of copyrighted motion pictures via so called 'Torrents'.'       See, this is almost believable. Almost. I mean, there are logical holes you can drive a truck through, but I can see a fair number of people taking it seriously.

      Now if they had just posted all real stories today then this one they might have caught some people.

    It seems that the wesite for the webcomic Little Gamers has been shut down by the MPAA because it "... facilitates the illegal downloading of copyrighted motion pictures via so called 'Torrents'." It has the smell of a practical joke, it being April fools and all.

      Uh, you don't need to look at the code or images source to guess it's a fake. Just read the last sentence : "Sex before mariage is a sin". No need to check further after that :)

      I for one think this is a great April's Fool, despites all the "f34r my HTML sk1lz"-wanabees opinion!

    I always thought that MPAA page looked like a joke, but it's the same as the one on LokiTorrent, which has been looking like that for quite a while now.

    If it is a joke, I expect the MPAA to shut down the site as they are misappropriating a copyrighted image, also blatant trademark violations, and probably violating some patent.

    Pretty obvious, you can still go to the archive and visit any part of the site. The only thing you cant get to is any strips. The forum also seems to have been reset. I registered and tried to post, but they dont have any unlocked topics yet.
