Cartoon Network's 1st Original 'Toonami' Series
Rick Ellis writes "Sunday at the 2005 Tokyo Anime Fair in Japan,
Cartoon Network unveiled the highly anticipated new series, IGPX. It's a co-production with Production I.G. and Bandai Entertainment and will be the Cartoon Network's first original 'Toonami' series."
Gah. Mechs. Before I clicked on the link I knew there would be mechs in there somewhere. I could care less about damn gun mech-centric anime.

I haven't watched Cartoon Network in a while so I had no clue what "Toonami" was nor what "IGPX" was. (I wasn't "highly anticipating" it either).
Shouldn't they at least have posted a link to the official website?
Toonami is just riding the Japanese fad right now, anyone who has access to a PC has already found fansubs and is downloading them rather then watching the poor quality dubs. Do we honestly care what a children's channel does?
How about we start seeing news on how Tech TV has started a new show based on sex, drugs and sports instead? Same thing really, anyone who cares isn't here..
I like muppets.
Just what we need, more bug eyed cartoon freaks. Is there some sort of contest among the anime people to see who can do a whole cartoon in the fewest frames? Can't they be a little more..oh, I don't know, animated?
