BBC Reviews Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

An anonymous reader writes "Now that the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has made its debut in London, reviews are now beginning to trickle in. The BBC's review can be summed up in one sentence: '... somewhere in the production process the crew has lost sight of the fundamental aspect of the books - they were immensely funny."

Your the classic victim. Businessmen say "ok, we'll take a couple of big-name actors, put some computer effects, advertise it (buy some good critique) and .. Profit". No matter how the original script is slaughtered or the scenario sucks badly. There is a sufficient number of people who don't mind giving the money for the ticket despite those "drawbacks". So, they are making easy money with a recipe and zero art. You thought it was good?
