sebFlyte writes "After linking to Mad Penguin's first look all seems to have gone quiet on the Solaris 10 front. ZDNet now has a comprehensive review up, and are cautiously positive about the OS, though, as they say: 'as an alternative to Linux, it doesn't yet deliver.'"

    If you can't use a CLI then Linux isn't really for you either. You'd better stick with Windows.

    Whine, whine, whine... I might actually have to type.

    CLI is in many ways still more powerful than any GUI for the simple fact that arguments can be passed and programs can be made to work seemlessly with one another through the use of piping and output redirection.

    If you are too busy to learn how to manage a system from the native CLI, then what in the hell are you doing administering these systems?

    HIRE A REAL SYSADMIN AND STICK TO YOUR JAVA DEVELOPMENT

    The original movie was great, but I didn't realize that it was up to number 10 already. Looks like I've got nine movies to watch now.
