An anonymous reader writes "NASA's Return to Flight site details the space shuttle's to return to active use. The Flash intensive site features details on the mission, the crew, and the shuttle itself. Additionally, the site features none other than Scott Bakula as Captain Archer on the bridge of the Enterprise (USS, not STS)."

    After trawling through the god awful Flash script, I came across the gold nugget.

    What has changed:

    1. Bold Catchers
    The bolt catchers is now a one piece design

    2. Bipod ramp heaters
    Foam taken out

    3. Wing sensors
    The sensors will alert mission control and crew if things go pear shaped.

    4. Orbital Boom Sensor System
    The 50 foot Canadian built boom will enable the crew to check on the skin health of the shuttle.

    5. Cameras and tracking
    There will be cameras on the shuttles underbelly.

    Scott should feel proud, he sahres something in common with NASA: both he and NASA have experienced crashing and burning.... Probably not the most appropriate joke, but then again I hate olitical correctness.

    Does Nasa want to be taken seriously? Does America want to be taken seriously ? Do you have any fucking clue on how ridiculous the whole thing sounds ? "Hi, I am bla-bla-bla...as captain of the space-ship enterprise bla bla bla....just like Nasa bla-bla-bla"....are you FUCKING KIDDING ME????
    This is a space agency, for heaven's sake. This looks like one of those commercials on robocop, except its actually happening. The USA has become so full of children-like adults that this is actually happening. You have a fucking moron for a President, who babbles like a child, and you have your government's agencies treating you like retards, pumping pseudo-information at you through useless videos featuring children's entertaining.
    Who came up with this notion? When will they be shot?

    I am not American, and no, I am not one of the Anti-American fanatics you are thinking of. I just get worried when I see the most powerful country in the world treating its citizens as children, because I start to think that well, what if they are right? You only have the power to destroy the whole world about a hundred times or so. Please make sure your government understands you are grown-ups.

    Or better yet, put some grow-ups on the government.
