Adobe Blasts Nikon's Closed File Format

blasts Nikon's use of encryption to limit access to white-balance information contained in D2X RAW images files. Fearing the DMCA, Adobe won't reverse-engineer the file, slightly reducing Photoshop's support for those files.

But that's communist open sores software! My company won't touch that crap with a ten foot pole because we love America and crony capitalism.

You *may* have some limited rights to use the photographs you take, but make no mistake: ALL YOUR PHOTOS BELONG TO NIKON!
