Third Parties Already Taking Advantage of Tiger

tezbobobo writes "Tiger been out hours and already the Apple download page has been updated to take advantage of the update's new features. These cover areas including Spotlight plugins, Dashboard plugins, and Automator plugins. These allow a range of actions from searching within omnigraph documents (spotlight), to resizing photoshop documents (automator), and (my fav) a dashboard wireless locator. The best bit -- a cursory glance indicates about half are freeware."

      San Francisco, California - Just three days after being the first in the world to leak photos of Apple's upcoming revision to MacOS X, version 10.4, Steve Jobs announced to the world facts about the new Operating System consistent with information leaked by elite GNAA operator Gary Niger and prospective member Ron Delsner.

      "We've pulled it off!" Noted Niger during Jobs' announcement at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference. "The GNAA plan was clever from the start with this one I think. When we received our leaked copy of the OS, we knew that by releasing only partial information and some screenshots, the association people would make with the GNAA would lead them to believe the screenshots were fake. Now that Steve 'Rim' Jobs has verified everything we leaked, we have managed to fool the entire Mac community. In essense, a few hundred thousand people have been trolled, a few hundred thousand people have lost. Though I do wish they have a nice day "

      Delsner was right, as upon hearing this, Gary Niger immediately produced a vial of what he called the "Holy Gay Nigger Seed" from his front pocket, and asked Ron to kneel, at which time the Seed was poured upon Ron's head, making him an official member of the GNAA. Noticing the television cameras present in the press room, Gary cited that this was in fact the first televised induction of a member into the GNAA.

      "But back to the troll", Niger said quickly after. "I had a sneaking suspicion that the homosexual caucasians of the Mac community would feel threatened by the GNAA's massive nigger cocks and immediately cast doubts upon any screenshots we produced for them. I saw this as an opportunity to troll hundreds of thousands of people. It just goes to show that GNAA is greater than j00, and that fristage postage is mine." /p>

      MacRumors.com - "I immediately thought of them when I saw" GNAA ". Anyone who reads Slashdot would be familiar with them - they put big spam posts everywhere. Yes, and it doesn't surprise me. I don't think the screenshots are real (at least not the Dashboard ones), but I have no trouble believing the PDF." /p>

      Kim Kap Sol on AppleInsider.com said "I can guarantee those are fake." He then continued by saying "Hello I R Korea KEKEKEKE OMG ZERG RUSH GOGOGOGO ^_^"

      Gary's reply to this was "Way to make a complete idiot of yourself you dog-eating douchebag." /p>

    It is official; Netcraft confirms: Apple is Homosexual

    One more crippling bombshell hit the already beleaguered Apple community when IDC confirmed that Apple market share has dropped yet again, now down to less than a fraction of 1 percent of all servers. Coming on the heels of a recent Netcraft survey which plainly states that Apple has lost more market share, this news serves to reinforce what we've known all along. Apple is collapsing in complete disarray, as fittingly exemplified by failing dead last in the recent Sys Admin comprehensive networking test.

    You don't need to be a Kreskin to predict Apple's future. The hand writing is on the wall: Apple faces a bleak future. In fact there won't be any future at all for Apple because Apple is dying. Things are looking very bad for Apple. As many of us are already aware, Apple continues to lose market share. Red ink flows like a river of blood.

    Apple is the most endangered of them all, having lost 93% of its core developers. The sudden and unpleasant departures of long time Apple developers Jordan Hubbard and Mike Smith only serve to underscore the point more clearly. There can no longer be any doubt: Apple is Homosexual.

    Let's keep to the facts and look at the numbers.

    Apple Admin leader Theo states that there are 7000 users of Apple Admin. How many users of ConsoleOne are there? Let's see. The number of Apple Admin versus ConsoleOne posts on Usenet is roughly in ratio of 5 to 1. Therefore there are about 7000/5 = 1400 ConsoleOne users. Apple posts on Usenet are about half of the volume of ConsoleOne posts. Therefore there are about 700 users of Apple. A recent article put Apple at about 80 percent of the Apple market. Therefore there are (7000+1400+700)*4 = 36400 Apple users. This is consistent with the number of Apple Usenet posts.

    Due to the troubles of Word Perfect, abysmal sales and so on, Apple is going out of business and will probably be taken over by Apple who sell another troubled OS. Now Apple is also dead, its corpse turned over to yet another charnel house.

    All major surveys show that Apple has steadily declined in market share. Apple is very sick and its long term survival prospects are very dim. If Apple is to survive at all it will be among OS dilettante dabblers. Apple continues to decay. Nothing short of a miracle could save it at this point in time. For all practical purposes, Apple is dead.

    Why is this on the front page of slashdot? Free tiger publicity doesn't bother me overmuch but apple making sure there a plenty of free/shareware download links on their website seems more like something that should remain in the apple section of slashdot. Perhaps with a "this is not quite news" disclaimer in the summary.
